Blog Post #12 - Sound element usage in my project
In my project I will be using multiple elements of sounds. These sound elements will be important to the film in order to build suspense, establish the setting, and help the audience understand what is going on throughout the film. My film will be using sound effects, score, dialogue elements, and ambient sounds.

I will be using synchronous diegetic sound effects of objects being grabbed, doors opening, footsteps, and a sound effect of someone driving a car. These sound effects will be used in order to show the audience what is happening in my project. Some of these sounds will be recreated using foley elements in order to make the sounds sound more realistic to the audience. Score will be used throughout my film in order to build suspense. The score that is used in my film will be able to build suspense within the audience because the score that I will be using will be suspenseful instrumental music. Dialogue sound elements will be used throughout my film in order to show the audience the emotions of the characters in my project. For example, when the criminal of my film messes something up he will have an annoyed tone. This will show the audience that he is annoyed at something at that moment. Ambient sounds will be used in order to establish the setting of the film. This ambient sound will mostly just be wind created from foley elements.
