Blog post #21 - costuming illustrations for D.L
after finalizing my decisions for all the costuming for my characters I decided to create sketches of each of my characters in order to provide a better idea of what all my characters will look like in my films. This sketch of the antagonist of my film (D.L) will give me a better idea of what exactly to look for to perfect the costuming of my character. Down below are my sketches for D.L.
The sketch on the left is D.L with a full black outfit and a black ski mask while the sketch on the right is similar showing D.L in a full black outfit but instead of a ski mask is only wearing a normal mask. The sketch that will be most accurate to D.L's costuming in my film will be the one on the left because in my film D.L will be wearing a ski mask instead of a normal mask. The reasoning behind this is that a ski mask protects D.L's identity better than a normal mask would. This is because the ski mask covers more of D.L's face than a normal mask would.
