Blog Post #35- My title sequence for my film
After researching title sequences from films I decided to create my own title sequence for my opening scene. The first thing that I considered is what font to use for my title sequence. After testing many fonts I decided to choose a font called "ENGRY" because I thought that it would fit well with the genre of my film. The next thing that I thought about was deciding a color for the title sequence. The colors that I was considering was red and grey. I decided to use grey for my title sequence because grey seems like a better color option to use for a crime film than using red. A title in red seems like it would be better used in a film whose genre is the horror genre because of the association between blood and the color red. The next thing that I felt my title sequence needed was score. After searching for score that could work well for my project I finally found one on www.youtube.com that I felt worked very well with my project and could build suspense within the audience for the opening scene. Down below is the video to the score that I used for my title sequence.
After putting all these choices together I created a title sequence for my film that successfully introduces the title to the audience and builds suspense and excitement for my film. Down below is my title sequence for my opening scene.
