Blog Post #37- Editing the title sequence into my film

After successfully creating a title sequence that suits my film I decided to add it to the amount of film that I already have recorded. I wanted to insert the title sequence somewhere where it would fit really well and excite the audience for the film. I decided not to put it at the exact start of the film because I think some film should be shown before introducing the title sequence to my film. I did not want to add my title sequence to the end of my film because most films usually don't include their title sequence at the end, they include it closer to the start of the film.

At first I thought about putting the title sequence after D.L starts to exit the car (before the low angle shot of him exiting). The idea of this placement was not bad but I felt there was a better place to insert my title sequence. After reviewing more of my footage I found a part in the clip where I could insert the title sequence. The part that I chose to insert the title sequence is after D.L closes the door to his vehicle. My reasoning for this is that D.L slamming the door could transition into my title sequence and I think that this would make the title sequence grab the audiences attention more efficiently. Below is the full clip of D.L exiting the vehicle with the title sequence edited into the clip.
