Blog Post #54- clips for the post robbery car conversation that did not make the final cut

 When I was filming the scene of D.L and his partner in the car, this clip was recorded a few times. Since this clip was filmed multiple times, some of the clips did not make it to the final cut of my opening scene. The reason for why I had to record this clip a few times was because some of the clips had errors that I did not want to be included within my project. Most of these errors within these clips were mistakes within the dialogue of both of these characters.

The first clip contained a few dialogue errors that made the clip unusable. The first mistake was that when D.L said the line "Look what we got" there was too long of a pause of no dialogue after this line was said. The second mistake was that when D.L's partner was saying a line, he stuttered in between the sentence he was saying. I thought that filming the clip again without the stutter would make it more appealing to the audience. The third mistake was that the lines that were stated were too long. These lines being long did not seem time efficient so I decided that the lines should be shortened in order for the clip to be more time efficient.

The second clip contained less mistakes than the first clip but is still had some things that could be improved by re-filming. In this clip, instead of D.L's partner stuttering while saying a line, D.L stuttered while saying one of his lines in the clip. In this clip, D.L says the line "Yeah and we'll continue heists tomorrow". I felt like this line could have the word "heists" removed from it and still carry the same meaning that was intended from stating this line, which made this another reason for re-filming this clip.
